ThaiBev donates 20 million baht to the Volleyball Association of Thailand and supports the Thailand women's national volleyball team in their fight for the 2028 Olympic Games.
Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, along with company executives, welcomed and presented 20 million baht in support to the Thailand women's national volleyball team, coaching staff, and the Volleyball Association of Thailand. This came on the occasion of making history by qualifying for the 2028 Olympic Games. Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, received the donation, joined by Air Force Lieutenant Commander Chanrit Wongprasert, lifelong honorary vice president of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, and Kiattipong Ratchakriangkrai, team captain, at the ThaiBev Quarter building.
Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi expressed congratulations and admiration to the Volleyball Association of Thailand, coaching staff, and the women's national volleyball team for their dedication and hard work throughout the journey. He said today’s achievement is not merely success on the court but the result of sustained effort and cooperation from everyone involved over a long period. He believes the team's success is not due to any one individual but the collective strength of all pushing forward toward the larger goal on the global stage of the 2028 Olympic Games with full pride.
He also expressed pride that ThaiBev has stood alongside Thai volleyball continuously for over 40 years, collaborating with the association to develop the sport in every aspect—from supporting youth, developing athletes up to the national team, enhancing coaches’ capabilities, to raising competition standards.
