On 25 Sep 2026, reporters stated that heavy rain began earlier this morning across several parts of Nonthaburi province, resulting in flooding and water accumulation on many roads and around homes, causing distress to residents.
At 16:00, reporters visited the area in front of Esplanade Cineplex Ngam Wong Wan-Khae Rai on Rattanathibet Road, Mueang Nonthaburi District, and found rain continuing. The parallel road near bus stops and the mall had flooding up to about 15 centimeters, making travel difficult for small cars. Students returning home had to wade through the water with difficulty.
Traffic reports indicate that inbound traffic towards Pak Kret and heading to Ngam Wong Wan Road is dense and moves slowly. Flooding begins from the front of Nonthaburi Provincial Hall, passes in front of Nonthaburi Provincial Court, and extends to Lotus Khae Rai near Esplanade Khae Rai shopping center.
Meanwhile, in front of Lotus Khae Rai mall, flooding persists awaiting drainage. Authorities from Nonthaburi Municipality are working urgently to drain the water to alleviate hardships for residents and road users.
