Bang Sue District is monitoring water levels along the Prem Prachakorn Canal after continuous rainfall and accumulated precipitation have caused rising water levels, resulting in flooding in some areas. Temporary shelters have been opened.
On 25 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Thawatchai Janse, Director of Bang Sue District, visited the Ban Phak Rot Fai Construction community to assess the water situation following continuous rain and accumulated rainfall that caused flooding in some locations, especially near homes along the Prem Prachakorn Canal, where water levels are currently rising.
Field inspections found that water levels in the Prem Prachakorn Canal are high, combined with accumulated rainfall causing overflow and flooding in residential areas. The Bang Sue District Office is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating water drainage operations to mitigate the impact on residents.
Temporary shelters have been prepared.
For residents affected by flooding of their homes, shelters are available at
the Tuk Daeng Community Child Development Center,
and the Ban Phak Rot Fai Community Child Development Center (Can Flat).
The Bang Sue District Office urges residents along the canal to closely monitor water levels and be cautious of electrical hazards.
