MRTA Offers Free Parking to Assist Flood Victims in Bangkok and Surrounding Areas

The MRTA is offering free parking to assist flood victims in Bangkok and surrounding areas on the Blue and Purple MRT lines as well as the Green and Orange lines. Vehicles can be parked starting today and must be removed by 2 Oct 2026 GMT+7.

On 26 Sep 2026 GMT+7, the fan page ofthe Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)stated that the MRTA is opening free parking spaces to assist flood victims.

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) wishes to help alleviate the hardships of residents affected by flooding in Bangkok and its metropolitan area.

People can park cars and motorcycles at the following park-and-ride buildings:

• Blue MRT line: Park-and-ride buildings at Lat Phrao and Lak Song stations (2 buildings).
• Purple MRT line: Park-and-ride buildings at Khlong Bang Phai, Sam Yaek Bang Yai, Bang Rak Noi Tha It, and Yaek Nonthaburi 1 stations.
• Green line: Park-and-ride buildings at KPO and Khu Khot stations.
• Orange line: Park-and-ride building at Khlong Ban Ma station.

Vehicles can be parked starting today and must be removed by 2 October 2026 GMT+7. Users are requested to follow staff instructions and park only in designated areas.
