On 26 September 2026, the Ang Thong Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office reported that water from the Chao Phraya and Noi rivers has begun to overflow the banks into the underfloor areas of residents' homes.
In Wiset Chai Chan District, water from the Noi River has overflowed into the underfloor areas of homes in two low-lying riverside subdistricts (Bang Chak and Si Roi), affecting 188 households.
In Phong Pheng Subdistrict, Pa Mok District, homes are affected by rising water levels in the Bang Phong Pheng Canal, which connects to the Chao Phraya River, along with floodwater from rain, impacting one subdistrict and 98 households. Residents can still live normally and freely move in and out of their homes.
Chaiyo District has been affected in three subdistricts (Thewarat, Chaiyaphum, Chorakhe Rong), impacting 8 households.
Meanwhile, water levels this morning in the Chao Phraya and Noi rivers in Ang Thong province have risen by 12-26 cm, remaining 39 cm to 2.67 meters below the riverbanks, except at Bang Phong Pheng Canal, Village 4, Phong Pheng Subdistrict, Pa Mok District, where water level is 8.01 meters, about 1 cm above the embankment.
Agencies in Ang Thong province and local administrative organizations have been installing water pumps at risk points throughout the day, such as hospitals, markets, and community areas, and preparing sandbags and protective lines after 2 PM today when the Chao Phraya Dam will increase water discharge to 1,950 cubic meters per second.

Recently, water flowing through the C7A telemeter station in front of Ang Thong Provincial Hall is at 7.41 meters, with the critical point at 8 meters, from a riverbank with a 10-meter embankment, and the flow volume is 1,820 cubic meters per second.
