Bangkok Airways Launches Flood Relief Measures, Free Flight Date Changes Until 10 Oct

Bangkok Airways has announced relief measures for passengers impacted by flooding in Bangkok and surrounding areas traveling between 25–27 September 2026, allowing a free one-time flight date change or the option to receive a Travel Voucher.

26 September 2026 – Due to heavy rain and flooding in various parts of Bangkok and its metropolitan area, which have disrupted traffic and travel to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports and may affect some flight services, Bangkok Airways expresses concern for passenger safety and convenience. The airline advises travelers during this period to allow extra time to reach the airports and to check traffic conditions, travel routes, and flight status before departure.

For passengers scheduled to travel between 25 and 27 September 2026 who are unable to reach the airport due to flooding, the airline has prepared assistance measures to facilitate travel as follows:

• Flight Date Change Passengers may change their travel date on the same route once, with no fee charged for ticket changes, subject to seat availability on each flight, and travel must be completed by 10 October 2026.
• Retain Ticket for Future Use Passengers may opt to receive a Travel Voucher valid for one year from the date of issue to use for future travel.
