The Meteorological Department issued bulletin number 14 stating that in Bangkok, its metropolitan area, and the Eastern region, rain has started to decrease but heavy showers still occur in some locations, while the western part of the central region experiences heavy rain in many areas.

It stated that the western part of the central region has heavy rain in many areas with some places experiencing very heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, Bangkok and its metropolitan area along with the Eastern region have decreasing rain but continue to experience showers, including some heavy rain.
This is due to a low-pressure area covering the western central region combined with a fairly strong southwest monsoon blowing over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand.
People in the affected areas are advised to be cautious of heavy to very heavy rain and continuous rainfall accumulation, which may cause flooding, especially in foothill areas near waterways and low-lying regions. Avoid traveling through frequently flooded routes, particularly low-lying areas prone to short-term waterlogging.
Waves and winds over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are fairly strong. The upper Gulf of Thailand and northern Andaman Sea have waves 2-3 meters high, exceeding 3 meters in areas with thunderstorms. The lower Gulf of Thailand and southern Andaman Sea have waves about 2 meters high, exceeding 2 meters where thunderstorms occur. Mariners in these areas should navigate with caution and avoid sailing in thunderstorms. Small boats in the upper Gulf of Thailand and northern Andaman Sea should refrain from going out until 28 Sep 2026.
