A rescue team evacuated a 2-month-old baby through the roof to assist a family of five struggling through flooding in Lat Phrao 101. The operation was difficult due to high water levels and confined spaces before safely relocating them to a secure waiting area.
On 27 September 2026, the disaster response team from Supparachen Foundation in Samut Songkhram Province continued assisting residents affected by flooding in Bangkok. One key mission took place inside Lat Phrao 101 Soi 40, Intersection 3, after receiving reports of a family with small children trapped in floodwaters.
The rescue was challenging because the alley was narrow and floodwaters were deep, preventing rescue boats from directly reaching the family’s location.
Officials adjusted their plan by evacuating the children through the roof, then carrying them along an accessible route to safely remove everyone from the area.
Among those rescued was a 2-month-old baby boy, whom officials carefully placed in a basket for safe transport. Also included were two girls aged 5 and 2, along with their father and mother, making a total of five people.
After successfully evacuating everyone, the team transferred the family to a safe waiting point at Chang Nang School to rest and receive further care.
