Flooding in Bangkok remains severe at Khlong Chan Flats, Romklao Housing, and the Sports Village, where water levels are still high. Some residents are appealing for help with food, drinking water, and essential supplies.

At Khlong Chan Flats in Bang Kapi district, the area is heavily affected with water levels quite high. Vehicles parked in the lot and on the basketball court in front of the flats are submerged, some suffering electrical short circuits causing car alarms to blare throughout the night.
Meanwhile, police officers deployed traffic pickup trucks from Lat Phrao Police Station to assist on Seri Thai Road near Khlong Chan Place. They helped residents affected by the flooding to buy essential goods and safely return to their homes. However, some passengers still had to wade through deep floodwaters to reach their residences.
At Building 30 of Khlong Chan Flats, many residents gathered hoping to receive food and drinking water from volunteer officials. Mr. Supakit, 60, and Mr. Methakul, 45, who live on the third floor, said since last night, residents have been unable to leave due to water levels rising to car roof heights. They have no food, water, or electricity, making the night very difficult. They mainly need food and water and expect the flood to subside by about next week.
Mr. Supakit also expressed frustration, saying he wants government agencies to realize that after elections, no one cares about Khlong Chan residents. Candidates came to campaign personally, but now that residents who voted are suffering, no one has come to help.
At Romklao Housing in Lat Krabang, home to about 30,000 people, floodwaters remain waist to chest high in some areas. Rescue workers have mobilized to assist vulnerable groups and those affected by evacuating them to shelters set up by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
Here, Governor Chadchart Sittipunt acknowledged that after evacuating people from Romklao Housing community to local shelters since yesterday (26 Sep), overcrowding has become an issue with thousands arriving. They are relocating evacuees to King Mongkut's University of Technology Lat Krabang. The main challenge now is caring for the remaining tens of thousands still in the large community, ensuring food and support especially for bedridden patients—40 to 50 of whom have been evacuated, but some remain and require urgent attention.
At the Sports Village Laemthong and Bangkok Krit areas, water levels remain high. Social media has seen calls for authorities to assist residents still trapped in these neighborhoods, as many houses in side alleys cannot reach shelters. Aid is concentrated at relief centers, but urgent needs include food, drinking water, and supplies for children and patients unable to evacuate.
As of 14:00 GMT+7, Bangkok reported light to moderate scattered rain across the city, moving northeast with stable trends. The highest rainfall was recorded in Min Buri district at 11.0 mm.
