The Prachinburi–Sa Kaeo Highway Police reported a temporary closure of Highway 304 from km 165+500 to km 166+800 in both directions starting from 14:00 on 27 Sep 2026. This is due to rising water levels making it unsafe for all vehicles to pass. The closure affects the route between Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province, and Wang Nam Khiao District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, on both sides until water levels recede and traffic can resume. Authorities advise the public to avoid the area and plan travel ahead. They expressed concern for everyone’s safety and emphasized friendly travel.
Meanwhile, the Wang Nam Khiao Police Facebook page posted an announcement advising avoidance of certain routes.

Detour routes:
1. For Pak Thong Chai, use Route 24 heading towards Sikhio (if reaching Pak Thong Chai without entering Wang Nam Khiao area).
2. For Wang Nam Khiao, use Route 3052 Khao Phaeng Ma–Pak Chong (if entering Wang Nam Khiao area).
3. If beyond Wang Nam Khiao towards Kabin Buri, travelers must wait until water levels recede.
