Flash floods from Khao Yai National Park overflowed into Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The floodwaters breached the banks, inundating communities along the canals and flooding the old Mittraphap Road in Nong Sarai Subdistrict, causing widespread impact.
In the evening of 27 Sep 2026 GMT+7 in Nakhon Ratchasima, reporters reported that water flowing from Khao Yai National Park into Pak Chong municipality in Pak Chong District rose, especially near the Lam Takhong riverside at Khao Bridge on the old Mittraphap Road, the Nong Sarai traffic light intersection, and the Wat Nong Sarai community adjacent to the Lam Takhong River, where flooding spread widely.
Bedridden patients and elderly residents were relocated to Wat Chanthuek in Nong Sarai Subdistrict.
Meanwhile, Anupong Suksamanit, Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima, and Krisanthorn Lertsamrong, Pak Chong District Chief, visited the area to inspect and offer encouragement.
