Morning Update: High Floodwaters Persist at Bang Kapi Intersection and Khlong Chan Flats, Avoid Routes

At 07:30 GMT+7, Lat Phrao Police Station provided this morning's water situation update. "In front of The Mall Bang Kapi and inside Khlong Chan Flats" Flood levels remain high at Bang Kapi Intersection; small vehicles are prohibited from passing due to flooding. At Lat Phrao 101 Intersection, water has receded to sidewalk level.

On 28 September 2026, the Facebook page "Lat Phrao Police Station" issued an update on the water situation today in Bang Kapi district from early dawn until approximately 07:30 GMT+7 as follows.

• In front of The Mall Bang Kapi,

there is still significant flooding on the road surface, making passage impossible. The public is advised to avoid this area and plan alternative routes.

• Khlong Chan Flats

Water levels at Seri Thai Road, Soi 5 and Soi 7 within Khlong Chan Flats remain flooded. Residents and those needing to travel through the area should exercise increased caution and monitor the situation closely.

• Lat Phrao 101 Intersection

At Lat Phrao 101 Intersection, water on the road surface has subsided to sidewalk level. Road users are urged to drive carefully, reduce speed, and assess water depth before proceeding.

• Bang Kapi Intersection

Flooding remains high at Bang Kapi Intersection on Nawamin Road, both inbound and outbound lanes. Small vehicles are prohibited from passing due to safety risks and possible engine stalls. Small vehicle drivers should avoid this intersection and plan alternative routes.
