On 28 September 2026, the Facebook page of the Meteorological Department posted a statement announcing Meteorological Department Bulletin No. 18 regarding heavy to very heavy rainfall in Thailand.
The western and lower northern regions, western central region, and eastern region continue to experience heavy to very heavy rain in some areas. Other regions see decreasing rainfall but can still have heavy rain in some locations.

At sea, caution is needed in the upper Gulf of Thailand and upper Andaman Sea where waves reach 2–3 meters; in areas with thunderstorms, waves can exceed 3 meters. Small boats are advised to refrain from going out to sea until today (28 September).
