The "Poh Teck Tung Foundation Unites to Pass on Kindness Against Flood Disaster" campaign opened, mobilizing volunteers to pack survival kits and upgrading the mobile kitchen to increase the amount of cooked food, accelerating distribution to flood victims.
The Poh Teck Tung Foundation has deployed disaster relief teams, including rescue and emergency medical teams, district personnel, and volunteers equipped with flat-bottom boats, water rescue equipment, 4x4 vehicles, and ambulances to rapidly assist and evacuate people, including patient transfers in affected areas since the evening of 25 September 2026.
On 28 September 2026, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, led by Chairman Wichian Techapaiboon, concerned about flood victims now affecting multiple provincial areas, assigned Director and Secretary Sirikul Opaswong, Foundation Manager Aran Totuat, Disaster Relief Manager Duangchuta Tiyapojanapornkul, and Disaster Relief Head Yuthana Takot to launch the "Poh Teck Tung Foundation Passes on Kindness Against Flood Disaster" campaign. They mobilized volunteers and staff to urgently pack 1,000 emergency survival kits containing ready-to-eat canned food, cooked rice, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, mosquito repellent spray, sanitary pads, wet and dry tissues, LED flashlights with batteries, black garbage bags, and common medicine kits. These were loaded onto flat-bottom boats for immediate distribution to flood victims in areas such as Nakhon Nayok province.
Volunteers led by Honorary Volunteers Siriporn Opaswong and Siriwan Opaswong participated in packing the survival kits. Currently, the community medical unit team, foundation volunteers, and volunteers are packing an additional 2,000 common medicine kits to prepare for distribution to flood victims at the Poh Teck Tung Foundation in Plabplachai, Bangkok.
Simultaneously, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation has upgraded its mobile kitchen, currently located at the parking area behind the Tai Hong Kong Yuk Khao Shrine in Sathorn district, Bangkok, to increase the production of boxed cooked meals and drinking water. The disaster relief team loads these onto flat-bottom boats to deliver food and water immediately to flood victims.
Additionally, the foundation deployed disaster relief teams to Pua and Wang Pha districts in Nan province to distribute consumer goods to flood victims and provide funeral financial assistance to relatives of the deceased under the "Post-Flood Recovery Project," totaling over 600,000 baht.

Since the flooding began, the foundation has deployed disaster response teams including rescue, emergency medical, and volunteers equipped with flat-bottom boats, water rescue gear, generators, 4x4 high-lift vehicles, 4-wheel drive ambulances, life jackets, drinking water, and common medicine kits to provide immediate flood relief. They have also set up mobile kitchens and opened the foundation’s packing site for emergency survival kits to support ongoing relief efforts. The site opened on 27 September 2026 and the foundation continues to monitor the southern flood situation closely to assess and accelerate assistance efforts alongside its disaster relief department.

For faster coordination, victims in affected areas should prepare information before calling, such as the name and phone number of the caller, location coordinates, number of victims, and details on patients, injured persons, elderly, children, or disabled individuals if any.
The Poh Teck Tung Foundation sends encouragement to all flood-affected citizens, officials, and volunteers carrying out relief efforts in the affected areas.
