On 28 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reporters noted that since the afternoon, "Ple Nakhon," a famous actor and volunteer jet ski team member of the Thainakha Foundation, has been on site navigating floodwaters to distribute food and essential supplies to residents at Khlong Chan Flats. He brought jet skis and boats loaded with more than 2,000 ready-to-eat meals and drinking water packages to distribute across various flood-affected flats, including vital survival kits.
Particularly in the flat zones of buildings 15, 17, 18, 19, and 20, which still require assistance ranging from 200 to 500 sets each time. However, this is still insufficient because many disaster victims await help in each building. The urgently needed items include disposable diapers for children, infant milk, pet food for dogs and cats, and various medicines.
Ple Nakhon explained that the main obstacle is the continuously rising water levels due to rain since morning. The situation is expected to remain steady or with ongoing rain for some time. Accessing many areas is difficult because routes are cut off, requiring personnel and jet skis to be transported across bridges and roads to distribute aid. Several other zones still await assistance.
He added that this flood is particularly severe because in 2011, this area was not flooded. The high water levels now hinder patient transport. Pregnant women must be moved outside until the situation improves because some indoor areas lack water, and power has been cut off for safety reasons.
After aiding residents at Khlong Chan Flats, the team will immediately head to Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, and Rayong provinces, where many areas remain in crisis.
Meanwhile, the latest flood situation at Khlong Chan Flats in Bang Kapi district, Bangkok, remains concerning this evening. Periodic rainfall has prevented water levels from receding, with some locations still flooded up to chest height.
All 30 flats in Khlong Chan, home to over 4,000 households, continue to suffer severe impacts, making travel in and out extremely difficult.
At the same time, foundation staff have been gradually delivering food and drinking water to affected residents. However, the aid is still insufficient due to the large number of people affected and the prolonged flooding. Residents are requesting additional support, especially food, drinking water, and essential supplies, and urge relevant agencies to expedite relief efforts to alleviate their hardships.
