Phu Kradueng National Park Opens for 2570 Tourism Season to Welcome Visitors to Experience Nature

Phu Kradueng in Loei Province has opened, ready to welcome tourists to enjoy the cool weather and experience the natural beauty during the 2570 tourism season.


On 1 October 2569 at Phu Kradueng National Park, Loei Province, Mr. Prayoon Aranrut, Deputy Governor of Loei, presided over the opening ceremony for tourism and overnight stays at Phu Kradueng summit for the year 2570.

Also attending were Mr. Det Aksornwong, Chief of Phu Kradueng District, Mr. Phuwanai Moolwaeng, Head of Phu Kradueng National Park, other government officials, and tourists. On the first day, about 350 tourists registered to climb Phu Kradueng.

Phu Kradueng National Park can accommodate up to 3,500 tourists daily to ensure proper management of the area alongside safety and natural resource conservation.

Mr. Prayoon Aranrut, Deputy Governor of Loei, said that opening tourism and overnight stays on Phu Kradueng summit is an important opportunity to welcome visitors to Loei Province and promote tourism that distributes income to local people and communities.

Loei Province prioritizes full preparedness, including facilitating tourists, ensuring their safety, and conserving natural resources and the environment, to make Phu Kradueng tourism high-quality and sustainably beneficial to communities. He also urged tourists to follow national park regulations, maintain cleanliness, avoid littering, and help protect natural resources to preserve Phu Kradueng's beauty.

Mr. Phuwanai Moolwaeng, Head of Phu Kradueng National Park, stated that the park is a significant and well-known natural tourist site in Loei Province, covering about 217,576.25 rai. It features a large sandstone mountain with a flat summit area of approximately 60 square kilometers or about 37,500 rai.

Within the park are many beautiful natural attractions including cliffs, waterfalls, meadows, pine forests, various flowering plants, and diverse wildlife, attracting many Thai and international tourists.

For this tourism season, Phu Kradueng National Park allows tourism and overnight stays on the summit from 1 October 2569 to 31 May 2570, an 8-month period before closing during the rainy season from June to September annually.

Phu Kradueng National Park is located in Si Than Subdistrict and is an important tourist destination in Phu Kradueng District. It generates income and jobs for local residents through tourism, which circulates money in the community from service fees, payments, sales of food, drinks, souvenirs, and porter services for tourists.
