Bangkok Expects Large Rain Cluster to Form Around 7 PM in the City Center

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has released radar images forecasting that around 7 PM, a large rain cluster will form in the city center. They advise residents to plan their travel accordingly and have opened a channel to monitor rain forecasts up to 3 hours in advance.

On 1 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Bangkok reported that at 4 PM, light to moderate rain was observed in Suan Luang, Bang Kapi, Chatuchak, Phaya Thai, Din Daeng, Wattana, Bang Sue, Bang Phlat, Bangkok Noi, Taling Chan, Bang Khae, Thawi Watthana, Nong Khaem, Khlong Toei, and Bangkok Noi districts, moving northwest with a stable trend. Total rainfall in Phasi Charoen district was 49.0 mm.

The forecast for the next 3 hours indicates a large rain cluster forming in the city center. Residents are urged to head home promptly and plan their travel carefully.
