On 2 Oct 2026 GMT+7, the Meteorological Department reported that at 13:30, thunderstorms, strong gusts, lightning, and heavy rain were observed in Bangkok, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Prakan. The rain clusters are moving slowly westward and expanding, with an expected gradual weakening in 1–2 hours. There is still a chance of rain again in the evening. Avoid staying outdoors and in open areas, plan travel accordingly, and continuously monitor radar updates.
Meanwhile, the Facebook page "T' Lomfahakam" posted around 13:00 that rain is expected in Bangkok and surrounding areas in 2–3 hours. The rain clusters are moving from east to west. They will post radar images again soon, so please stay tuned!
