Latest Atmosphere Inside Siam Amazing Park After Full Flooding Recovery Expected to Take 6 Months

Photos reveal the latest atmosphere inside "Siam Amazing Park" or "Siam Park City" after the entire area was flooded. Recovery is expected to cost about 500 million baht and take six months.

Regarding Siam Amazing Park, also commonly known as Siam Park City, the park announced a temporary closure starting 26 September 2026 due to flooding in Bangkok and the declaration of Khan Na Yao district as a disaster area, which severely affected the park.

Later, Dr. Chaiwat Luangamornlert, Chairman and founder of Siam Amazing Park, spoke openly about the greatest crisis of his life after the severe flood submerged the entire water park and amusement area, forcing a service suspension of at least six months and preliminary damage estimates exceeding 500 million baht.

Siam Park City first opened on 19 November 1980 on over 300 rai of land in Khan Na Yao, with the concept of offering Bangkok residents a beach and water play experience without needing to travel far from the city.

Since opening, Siam Park City has faced several crises leading to decreased visitors, which meant reduced revenue. Despite fixed costs and a large workforce to support, the company chose to continue sustaining its operations.

Currently, nearly the entire park area is flooded, suffering more damage than in 2011 when only about 30% was affected. The company has announced a closure of at least six months to survey and restore the area. The period from October to December is typically a busy time with many families and students visiting, so the closure means both repair expenses and lost revenue during a critical season.

Initially, management estimates needing at least 500 million baht to restore Siam Park City, including about 300 million baht for repairs and maintenance, plus wages and other expenses. They also expressed support for those affected by flooding who have lost everything.
