Yai V10 Storms Garage to Reclaim Classic Car Original Engine Missing, Mechanic Claims Owner Approved Sale for 6,000 Baht

Yai V10 stormed a famous garage to reclaim his classic car after paying 280,000 baht for over a year of repair work that remained incomplete and the original engine went missing. Mechanic Kij claimed the car owner allowed him to sell the engine for 6,000 baht to buy beer for his workers. Before leaving, Kij pushed Yai V10, nearly provoking a fight.

On 9 Oct 2026, Thanakorn Mongkolsilp, known as “Yai V10,” a social aid influencer, accompanied by lawyer Bomb and his team, visited the garage of Krisana, known as “Mechanic Kij,” a well-known car influencer, after receiving a complaint from a Thai-mixed owner whose classic American car had been under repair for over a year with unresolved issues.

The owner stated that the car repair was agreed at over 500,000 baht, with 280,000 baht already paid. However, after more than a year, the work was still unfinished and there were many concerns. Therefore, Yai V10’s team was authorized to inspect and retrieve the car on behalf of the owner.

The atmosphere was tense during the visit. Yai V10’s team presented a power of attorney to the garage to inspect the car’s condition and collect it for the owner, but initially, the garage denied entry to the entire team. Eventually, lawyer Bomb and the media were allowed to check the customer’s car parked inside.

When lawyer Bomb inspected the car and inquired about the old engine, it was discovered missing. Mechanic Kij claimed the owner permitted selling the original engine for 6,000 baht to buy beer. He also explained that he refused to let others collect the car despite the power of attorney because the owner previously accused him of losing the car even though it remained in the garage. He insisted the owner must come personally to avoid future issues.

Mechanic Kij further explained the expenses, saying he had completed several parts, including painting, body repair, installing a new engine, tow truck fees, and labor costs, so he could not refund the full 280,000 baht. He stated he had set aside 140,000 baht to return to the customer and claimed he had notified them to collect the car since 22 Aug 2026. If not collected, a daily parking fee of 300 baht would be charged.

Regarding the engine agreement, Mechanic Kij said he had transferred the money and that the newly installed engine belonged to him. Verification is needed to confirm if this engine is the same as claimed and whether there was any written agreement.

While showing the media the car’s condition inside the garage, after finishing, they walked out to the street in front of the garage. Mechanic Kij then started shouting and appeared to challenge and provoke Yai V10. The situation escalated when Kij suddenly pushed Yai V10 from behind once as he was giving a media interview, almost causing a violent clash amid efforts by the team to intervene. Police patrol officers arrived to calm Kij down and urged him to remain calm.

After the incident, Yai V10 filed a complaint with the Pak Khlong Rangsit Police Station for assault. He stated he will present chat evidence from the LINE application to verify whether the owner truly authorized the sale of the original engine as Kij claimed. If no permission is found, lawyer Bomb will file charges related to property loss. Yai V10 also remarked that the 140,000 baht Kij prepared to return should be kept to cover court expenses.

This case still has many points pending verification, including the delayed repair progress, the actual expenses calculation, and the truth about the missing original engine. These matters await investigation by the police and evidence from both parties.
