Flooding in Prachinburi: Many Areas Still Slowly Draining, Residents Rely on Boats for Travel

Situation "Flooding in Prachinburi" In many areas, water is receding slowly. Floodwaters still surround villages, forcing residents to use boats for travel only.

On 25 Oct 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed flooding in Ban Sang District, especially in Ban Bang Ton Chik, Bang Tan Subdistrict. Drone inspections revealed that in Bang Yang and Bang Tan subdistricts, high floodwaters still cover roads leading into villages. Although water levels have begun to drop somewhat, floodwaters continue to encircle villages, so residents must rely on boats for travel.

Some residents, after nearly a month of evacuation to relatives' homes, have started returning because elderly family members miss their houses. They called relatives to bring boats to take them back for cleaning their homes. Given the floodwaters surrounding the villages, it is expected to take about 10-15 days before water levels drop enough to allow vehicle access again.
