Thawat Wongsanga, Deputy Commissioner responsible for traffic, and the bureau's spokesperson team announced road closures and detours for rehearsals of the Royal Cremation Procession of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, from 06:30 to 19:30. They advised avoiding routes around the Grand Palace and Sanam Luang due to rehearsals of Royal Procession sequences 1, 2, 3, and 6. The Metropolitan Police Bureau has deployed traffic police to manage these routes and facilitate travel for those needing access. Drivers are urged to review route information and plan their journeys accordingly.
Regarding the rehearsal routes and detours, 16 roads around Sanam Luang will be closed in the morning during rehearsals of sequences 1, 2, and 3, which will take place from 06:30 to 12:00.
1. Sequence 1 rehearsal from 07:00 to 09:00, starting at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall to Wat Pho, along Maharaj Road and Tha Wang Road.
2. Sequence 2 rehearsal from 07:30 to 10:00, from Wat Pho to Sanam Luang, along Sanam Chai Road and Inner Ratchadamnoen Road.
3. Sequence 3 rehearsal from 10:00 to 11:30, circling the Royal Crematorium area around Sanam Luang.

From 16:00 to 16:20, the route from the Territorial Defense Command to the Grand Palace will be rehearsed, along Sanam Chai Road and Na Phra Lan Road. From 17:00 to 17:25, the route from the Grand Palace to Wat Ratchabophit will be rehearsed along Na Phra Lan Road, Kalyanamaitri Road, and Atsadang Road. From 17:45 to 18:15, the route from Wat Ratchabophit to Wat Bowonniwet will be rehearsed, passing Atsadang Road, Ratchabophit Road, Fueang Nakhon Road, Bamrung Mueang Road, Kalyanamaitri Road, Sanam Chai Road, Inner Ratchadamnoen Road, Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, Dinso Road, and Phra Sumen Road.
