Warning: High Tides Expected from 31 Oct to 4 Nov in 7 Provinces and Bangkok

The National Water Resources Office has issued a warning for high tides from 31 October to 4 November 2026, alerting areas along the Bang Pakong, Chao Phraya, Tha Chin, and Mae Klong rivers across seven provinces and Bangkok to monitor the situation.

On 31 October 2026, the National Water Resources Office announced a high tide watch for the period from 31 October to 4 November 2026.

Easterly winds are covering Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand, causing sea levels to rise. This has led to water levels in rivers connected to the sea increasing by about 0.30 to 0.50 meters above critical levels. Flooding may occur in areas along the Bang Pakong, Chao Phraya, Tha Chin, and Mae Klong rivers between 31 October and 4 November 2026, including communities outside levees, locations without permanent flood defenses, and on roads such as Sukhumvit Road, Suksawat Road, and Rama II Road.

Authorities are urged to monitor the high tide situation closely in the provinces of Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and Samut Songkhram.
