Phuket – The Mai Khao Subdistrict Administration posted seven official notices at the Ban Dan Yid pool villa project in Mai Khao Subdistrict after discovering expired construction permits and unauthorized building activities. They ordered construction to be halted, prohibited the use of the buildings, and required the submission of proper permits within 30 days.
In the ongoing case regarding the application for construction permits for a pool villa in Ban Dan Yid, Village 3, Mai Khao Subdistrict, Thalang District, Phuket, where "Bum Panadda" is named as the applicant, public scrutiny has arisen due to suspicions about the use of signatures on the permit application documents.
Most recently, on 3 Nov 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed that officials from the Mai Khao Subdistrict Administration posted a total of seven administrative orders at the construction site. The orders are divided into two groups based on permit status: Building 1, which had a valid construction permit, and Building 2, which was constructed without permission.
Regarding Building 1, which had a valid construction permit, four official orders were posted, including:
1. Order K.2 addressing the owner's failure to renew the construction permit for building, modification, demolition, or relocation after the original permit expired.
2. Order K.3 suspending construction because the construction permit had expired.
3. Order K.4 prohibiting the use of the building or entry into any part of it, including areas under construction, modification, demolition, or relocation.
4. Order K.5 requiring the owner to submit a proper permit application within 30 days.
For Building 2, which was constructed without permission, three orders were posted, namely:
1. Order K.3 suspending construction due to lack of any construction permit.
2. Order K.4 prohibiting use of the building or entry into any part of it, including construction, modification, demolition, or relocation areas.
3. Order K.5 requiring the owner to apply for proper construction permits within 30 days.
The posting of all seven orders at the site is an action by the Mai Khao Subdistrict Administration to notify the public and the owners of the two buildings about the construction issues, including expired permits and unauthorized building. The owners must comply within the specified timeframe.
However, doubts regarding the signatures on the permit application documents and the facts about the involved parties’ actions remain under investigation and await clarification from relevant authorities.
