Meteorological Announcement No. 6 lists provinces expected to be affected. "Unstable weather in upper Thailand." Warnings of thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail; meanwhile, "Increased rainfall in the South." Heavy rain in many areas with potential flash floods and forest runoff.

On 4 November 2026, the websiteof the Meteorological Departmentissued Announcement No. 6 regarding unstable weather in upper Thailand and heavy to very heavy rain in the South. It states that from 5–7 November 2026, upper Thailand will experience unstable weather characterized by thunderstorms, strong gusts, hail, and localized heavy rain. The northeastern region will be affected first, followed by the North, Central region including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East. The public is advised to beware of dangers from thunderstorms and strong winds and to avoid open areas, under large trees, and unstable billboards.

From 7–9 November 2026, the South will see increased rainfall with heavy rain in many areas and very heavy rain in some places. People are cautioned about the risks from accumulated rain that may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially in foothill areas near waterways and low-lying regions.

This is due to a high-pressure system or another cold air mass from China spreading over upper Thailand and the South China Sea, causing stronger easterly winds over Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand.

Regarding sea conditions, waves in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand where thunderstorms occur will exceed 2 meters high. Boaters in these areas should navigate with caution and avoid sailing in thunderstorm zones.

For safety and to minimize potential impacts, the public should plan their activities and travel carefully during this period.
