The moment of the 'bridge collapse' on Bangna-Trad Road was captured clearly by a vehicle's dashcam, showing the dump bed of a truck raised and stuck before hitting the pedestrian overpass beam, which then fell onto passing vehicles.
On 18 Dec 2025 GMT+7, a dump truck's raised bed struck a pedestrian overpass, causing it to collapse onto the truck's cab and a pickup truck, blocking the main inbound lanes on Thepharak Road (Bangna-Trad). Three people were injured and trapped inside. Rescue teams rushed to assist, as previously reported.
Later, a clip was shared showing the truck with its dump bed suddenly raised and stuck before hitting the overpass beam, which then immediately collapsed.
Reports say a following vehicle tried to honk to warn that the dump bed had lifted and posed a danger, but it was too late.
