The citywide average is 31.7 µg/m³ (standard 37.5 µg/m³), indicating moderate air quality. Particulate levels are rising, with two areas showing PM 2.5 levels exceeding standards at the orange alert level, beginning to impact health:

1. Nong Khaem District: 40.8 µg/m³.

2. Sathorn District: 38.6 µg/m³.

3. Prawet District: 37 µg/m³.

4. Bang Rak District: 36.9 µg/m³.

5. Phasi Charoen District: 36.9 µg/m³.

6. Samphanthawong District: 36.7 µg/m³.

7. Bang Khun Thian District: 36.5 µg/m³.

8. Chatuchak District: 36 µg/m³.

9. Bang Na District: 35.3 µg/m³.

10. Pathum Wan District: 35.2 µg/m³.

11. Lat Krabang District: 35.2 µg/m³.

12. Rat Burana District: 34.8 µg/m³.

Health advisory: At the orange level, air quality begins to affect health.

• General public: Use protective equipment such as masks against PM2.5 every time you go outdoors. Limit time spent on strenuous outdoor activities or exercise. Watch for symptoms like coughing, difficulty breathing, or eye irritation.

The forecast for 24-27 December indicates mostly weak to good ventilation conditions. The near-surface atmosphere is somewhat closed, with strong winds on some days, so PM 2.5 concentrations are expected to range from moderate to good.

From 28 December to 1 January 2026, ventilation is expected to be generally poor, so PM 2.5 concentrations are forecast to remain at moderate levels."
