Social Security Office Informs Employers of Service System Shutdown for Upgrade to SSO Core

The Social Security Office informs employers of a service system shutdown and upgrade to the SSO Core platform to enhance service efficiency for insured persons under Section 33 of the Social Security Act.

Ms. Kanchana Phulkaew, Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, revealed that the office is developing a new service system by upgrading to SSO Core, a modern centralized platform. This system supports comprehensive services and efficient data integration to facilitate employers and insured persons.

The Social Security Office announces a service system shutdown and upgrade from 20 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. During this period, employers can still perform necessary transactions through the office's electronic service system (www.sso.go.th) as usual, including the following:

1. Registering insured persons (Form SSO 1-03)

2. Reporting changes in insured persons' information (Form SSO 6-10)

3. Reporting termination of insured persons (Form SSO 6-09)

4. Submitting contribution data electronically

5. Paying contributions via the e-Payment system

Employers who have never used the Social Security Office's electronic services must register on the website www.sso.go.th to obtain a username and password to access the system.

Ms. Kanchana Phulkaew added that transactions made electronically during the system shutdown will be processed and entered into the Social Security Office's system after the upgrade, starting from 5 January 2026. "The Social Security Office apologizes for any inconvenience and reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving services to enhance care for employers and insured persons with efficiency, modernity, and responsiveness to digital-era needs. We are steadfastly advancing the SSO Core project for the long-term benefit of insured persons and employers nationwide."
