For Kids – Skill for Future" event celebrating National Children's Day 2026, designed to plant the seeds of learning as a gateway to science, technology, and future skills in children and youth alike. It promises to open doors to the world of science, technology, and skills of the future.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (Aow.) invites youth and families to experience the year's biggest National Children's Day event, "Aow. For Kids – Skill for Future." This annual 2026 event will open the doors for Thai children to explore the world of science, technology, and future skills through fun, modern, and inspiring learning activities on Saturday, 10 January 2026, from 08:30 to 16:30 GMT+7.
The event will be grandly held simultaneously at more than 40 locations nationwide, including the Ministry of Aow. and the Government House, providing spaces where children and families can closely engage with science, technology, and innovation in a joyful atmosphere filled with smiles and fun throughout the day.
The official opening ceremony will take place at the Ministry of Aow., Soi Yothi, Rama VI Road, on 10 January 2026 from 08:30 to 10:30 GMT+7. The ceremony will be presided over by Surasak Pancharoenworakul, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
Beyond the fun activities, children will encounter tangible cutting-edge technologies, exciting science activities, hands-on learning missions, and special prizes given throughout the event. Highlights include workshops and science experiments designed for youth of all ages, exhibitions showcasing futuristic technologies and innovations that will shape Thailand's future, a performance stage allowing children to showcase their talents and creativity, a fun prize zone with activities like treasure pools, balloon darts, egg scooping, and many more special activities.
The "Aow. For Kids – Skill for Future" event is organized to plant the seeds of learning, spark creativity, and let Thai children experience that science and technology are not distant concepts but the key to the future.
