On 1 February 2026, the Bangkok Air Quality Information Center reported PM2.5 particulate matter levels in Bangkok at 07:00, averaging 44.8 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m³), exceeding the standard limit of 37.5 µg/m³.

Top 12 highest PM2.5 pollution areas in Bangkok:

1. Chatuchak District: 54.1 µg/m³.

2. Lat Krabang District: 53.4 µg/m³.

3. Bang Kho Laem District: 53.1 µg/m³.

4. Khlong Sam Wa District: 53.0 µg/m³.

5. Bang Rak District: 52.9 µg/m³.

6. Lak Si District: 52.3 µg/m³.

7. Thawi Watthana District: 50.7 µg/m³.

8. Nong Chok District: 50.3 µg/m³.

9. Phra Nakhon District: 50.2 µg/m³.

10. Sai Mai District: 50.1 µg/m³.

The pollution level is orange, indicating beginning health effects (standard limit is 37.5 µg/m³), observed in 58 areas as follows:
