Health advice: Air quality in the orange zone indicates beginning health impacts.

  • General public: Use protective equipment like PM 2.5 masks whenever outdoors. Limit the time spent on strenuous outdoor activities or exercise. Watch for abnormal symptoms such as coughing, difficulty breathing, or eye irritation.
  • At-risk groups: Use protective equipment such as PM2.5 masks whenever outdoors. Avoid strenuous outdoor activities or exercise. Follow medical advice and consult a doctor immediately if symptoms occur.

Related factors(Forecast of weather conditions affecting PM2.5 pollution based on meteorological factors)

On 12 Feb, air ventilation is classified as "weak," with the atmospheric layer near the surface relatively closed, causing dust accumulation. From 13-18 Feb, ventilation is expected to improve, with the near-surface atmosphere alternating between open and closed states and influenced by southerly winds, reducing dust accumulation. Today is forecasted to have partial clouds and some morning fog, with temperatures rising by 1-2 degrees Celsius.

Satellite data from NASA monitoring hotspots found no abnormal heat points detected over the Bangkok area.
