"Iran" has provided the latest update that one "Thai vessel" has safely sailed through the Strait of Hormuz, thanks to international cooperation.
On 24 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters stated that amid unrest in the Strait of Hormuz area, the Facebook page "IR Iran Embassy in Bangkok Thailand" of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand posted: "We inform the Thai people that through close cooperation between our two countries and the Sultanate of Oman, a Thai vessel has peacefully passed through the Strait of Hormuz. We value our friendship and will not forget our allies."
Reports indicate that the vessel belongs to Bangchak Corporation, and there is one more Thai vessel also authorized to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
