For Songkran 2026, the Chulalongkorn Property Management Office has joined forces with MuvMi to provide free shuttle services connecting key landmarks for Songkran water celebrations across the Siam, Samyan, Banthat Thong, and Chamchuri Square areas.
On 9 April, reporters noted that the Chulalongkorn University Property Management Office (PMCU) partnered with MuvMian applicationoffering upgraded electric tuk-tuk rides for Songkran 2026 in the city center, inviting locals and tourists to enjoy the festivities without worrying abouttransportation.The service provides free shuttle rides connecting key landmarks throughout Siam, Samyan, Banthat Thong, and Chamchuri Square from 12 to 15 April 2026, between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
This collaboration reflects PMCU's vision to develop the Siam area into a true activity hub for everyone, accommodating both city residents and international tourists to make the most of the Songkran festival within a single neighborhood. It also aims to enliven the area’s atmosphere and promote economic circulation to local tenants and businesses throughout the district.
A key highlight of the Songkran event is transforming the entire district into a central hub combining water play, dining, sightseeing, and relaxation all in one place, supported by a transportation system designed to seamlessly connect all activities throughout the day. Visitors can start their fun at the Siam and Banthat Thong water play zones, then take a ride to the Rama 4 area to enjoy delicious food or relax at the Chamchuri Beach Club—a city center retreat offering free water refills and a place to rest. Additionally, the event launches the new MuvBus, a transportation option that accommodates more passengers comfortably, allowing groups to travel together more conveniently. Free MuvBus and MuvMi electric tuk-tuk services facilitate access to water play areas, reducing travel costs during the festival, encouraging shared mobility in the city, and supporting the local economy through these two special services covering the entire district.
