Seminar Held to Foster Youth Stars Towards a Flexible Education System

The Central Juvenile and Family Court, in collaboration with the Fund for Educational Equality, organized a seminar titled 'Fulfilling Dreams: Shaping Youth Stars for a Flexible Education System.' The event focused on innovative education approaches for youth.

On 10 Apr, reporters reported that recently, Mr. Tawisak Chanweeraset, Chief Justice of the Central Juvenile and Family Court, presided over the opening ceremony of a project developing education management models for children and youth involved in the criminal justice process under the court’s care. Attendees included Mr. Thawat Noksang, Deputy Chief Justice; Mrs. Nithimanee Sangkhomanee Yongkiatkan, Deputy Chief Justice; and Mr. Kamonsak Chainachawitkit.Secretary of the Court.The Central Juvenile and Family Court, Miss Buranima Kuniart, Director of the Court Secretariat, Mrs. Ing Phasakornnatee, Presiding Associate Judge, the Executive Committee, associate judges, psychologists, and court officials also participated at the TK Palace Hotel.Palace Hotel.and Convention Center, Bangkok.

This project is a collaboration between the Central Juvenile and Family Court and the Fund for Educational Equality, led by Mrs. Benjawan Sithisat. It involves a practical training course called the Learning Opportunity Management program for justice. Module 1 covers reading children, understanding the system, and exploring possibilities to help children and youth access flexible education not limited to traditional schools.Moreover,participants can choose learning paths suited to their strengths and circumstances. Children and youth can work, earn income, and have their learning from work experiences credited towards academic units. Upon passing assessments, they will receive certificates corresponding to their education levels, enabling them to advance further, thereby improving their future quality of life and contributing to a strong and healthy society.
