The accident involved a freight train originating from Chachoengsao Province bound for Bang Sue station, which crashed into air-conditioned bus route 206 traveling the Mega Bangna–Bang Khen route near the Makkasan Airport Rail Link station. The collision caused a severe fire on the bus, resulting in 8 deaths and 30 injuries. The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on 16 May 2026, as previously reported.

The accident caused a fire, leading to severe loss of life and property.
