GLO Launches Knowledge Box to Pave Dreams and Create Sustainable Learning Spaces for Youth

The Government Lottery Office launched the Knowledge Box to Pave Dreams, creating sustainable learning spaces for youth through innovative container libraries.

On 29 May, reporters noted that the Government Lottery Office (GLO) advanced its corporate social responsibility (CSR) mission by creating learning opportunities beyond the classroom for youth. GLO held a press conference to launch the 2026 Government Lottery-supported Schools project under the concept Knowledge Box to Pave Dreams: Creating Sustainable Learning Spaces for the Future. This involved designing and delivering modern container libraries to 73 Government Lottery-supported schools nationwide. The event took place on 28 May 2026 at the third floor of the GLO prize drawing building, with Colonel Noon Sansanakom, Director of the Government Lottery Office, executives, the union president, and staff attending.

Colonel Noon revealed that the office has continuously committed to building sustainability in Thai society. Following the success of clean energy delivery through solar systems in 2024 and promoting youth physical development and social skills via playground equipment in 2025, the year 2026 marks a significant step toward delivering knowledge. This is achieved by introducing innovative container libraries engineered to standard as comprehensive 21st-century learning spaces.Educational mediaof great value to intellectually empower youth.

The office recognizes youth as the vital foundation for national development, aiming to support comprehensive growth in physical, mental, and intellectual aspects. It hopes that this year’s Knowledge Box to Pave Dreams: Creating Sustainable Learning Spaces for the Future will serve as an essential out-of-classroom learning environment for Thai youth.

For the Knowledge Box to Pave Dreams: Creating Sustainable Learning Spaces for the Future initiative, the office has provided support. in constructing and installing container libraries equipped with air conditioning and selecting books suitable for school libraries, including youth-appropriate content such as the Thai Encyclopedia for Youth and engaging leisure reading materials. The project also promotes access to technology and innovative learning by installing smart TVs and Kiosk screens connected tothe internetfor borderless learning. Training on digital media usage is also provided to librarians or caretakers so teachers can fully utilize these tools to creatively enhance youth learning.

Mr. Suriya Denlemo, Director of Ban Nong Prao Ngai School (Government Lottery-supported School No. 364 Hom-Boonnak Support), said the project is a great opportunity to break past limitations of the school, which he believesthe librarymeeting standards will be a key attraction encouraging children to use the library more. Additionally, integrating digital media technology into teaching and research will broaden horizons and maximize benefits for students.

Ms. Wachirawan Thap Suea, a famous children’s book illustrator from Littleblackoz Studio, stated that the importance of books and good illustrations lies in their role as bridges that stimulate imagination and engage children’s interest. Including the "Thai Encyclopedia for Youth in Cartoon Edition" in the library helps simplify science subjects and provides a foundational base for questioning and logical thinking, naturally laying the groundwork for STEM education.

The 2026 Government Lottery-supported Schools project will gradually install and deliver container libraries across all four regions nationwide (Central, Northeast, North, and South). Activities titled “GLO Delivers Knowledge, Paves Dreams for Children” will involve GLO executives and staff visiting schools to organize bookshelves and tell stories, inspiring children closely, reaffirming GLO’s commitment to fostering dreams and nurturing quality citizens sustainably.
