People Gradually Reserve Spaces to Await the Funeral Procession of Princess Bajrakitiyabha

Dressed in black, the public gradually traveled to reserve spaces along the entire route to await the funeral procession of Princess Bajrakitiyabha from Chulalongkorn Hospital to Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall, Grand Palace.


On 13 June 2026 GMT+7, reports indicated that the atmosphere around Chulalongkorn Hospital before the funeral procession of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Thepya Devi, the Royal Highness Princess Rajasarin Siripatcharawacharin, was calm and orderly. Many people gradually arrived to secure spots along the route the procession would pass to pay their respects.

Most people wore black clothing, with some bringing portraits and flowers to express their condolences, amid an atmosphere filled with sorrow and gratitude for her royal benevolence. Meanwhile, police and related agencies deployed personnel to ensure security, facilitate traffic, and strictly organize the area to accommodate the public.

The Royal Household Bureau scheduled the funeral procession on Saturday, 13 June 2026 GMT+7, at 15:30 from Chulalongkorn Hospital to Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall in the Grand Palace. The procession will depart from Gate 15 of Chulalongkorn Hospital, proceed along Henri Dunant Road, turn right onto Rama IV Road, turn right onto Phaya Thai Road, turn left at Sri Ayutthaya Intersection onto Sri Ayutthaya Road, continue along Ratchadamnoen Nok Road, Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, and Ratchadamnoen Nai Road, pass Sanam Luang, before entering the Grand Palace through Wiset Chai Si Gate.
