On 18 June, reporters reported that the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is organizing the "Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival 2026," an important annual Thai festival in South Korea, under the concept "Land of Living Creativity." The event will take place at Cheonggye Plaza and along Cheonggyecheon Stream in central Seoul, South Korea, aiming to convey Thailand's charm, identity, and potential through creative energy, contemporary culture, and Thai soft power to Korean and international audiences.
The event is scheduled for 20-21 June 2026, led by Mr. Thani Sangrat, Ambassador to South Korea, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with support from government and private sector partners. This marks the 11th edition of the festival, which last year received strong interest and positive responses from Koreans, foreigners, and Thai residents in South Korea.
