Check Locations of 33 Districts for Free Large Waste Disposal on 11-12 July 2026: Steps to Prepare Here

Large waste issues—such as old mattresses, used furniture, broken electrical appliances, or other bulky discarded items—often pose a headache for Bangkok residents, as these cannot be disposed of with regular daily garbage. This sometimes leads to illegal dumping in vacant lots or canals, which harms the environment and significantly obstructs Bangkok's water drainage system.

/ The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has therefore continued to drive policies for cleanliness and city organization by announcing the locations for the "Scheduled Drop-off and Collection of Large Waste" on 11-12 July 2026. This aims to facilitate residents to dispose of large unwanted items free of charge.

Check locations and preparation steps here before risking fines for improper disposal. Find the nearest point and use the service, along witha recommended platformfor "waste buying"that teaches how to sell waste at home for easy extra income. Residents are asked to place large waste and unwanted items at the designated pickup point in front of their residence before 08:30 to await collection by staff between 09:00 and 12:00 on the scheduled day.
