Both employers and insured persons can register through three channels: the Social Security Office website, the SSO Plus application, and all Social Security offices nationwide.

The Secretary-General of the Social Security Office added that the campaign is divided into two phases: the registration encouragement period from 8 to 13 July 2026. On 8 July 2026, she presided over an event to encourage employers and insured persons to register to vote for employer and insured representatives on the 2026 Social Security Board. Ms. Jirapha Boonrat,an inspector generalof the Ministry of Labour, along with senior executives from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security Office officials, joined the event at Lalai Sap Market, Ratchadaphisek Soi 4, Huai Khwang district, Bangkok, to stimulatevoters’awareness of the importance of participationin shapingthe direction of Social Security Fund management. As of 7 July 2026, a total of 738,273 people have registered, including 6,336 employers and 731,937 insured persons.
Ms. Kanjanaalso said that a campaign will be held before election day on 25 September 2026 simultaneously inBangkokand provinces nationwide to encourage widespread voter turnout. Meanwhile, the Social Security Office is accepting candidate applications for the 2026 Social Security Board election from 1 to 15 July 2026, open daily including public holidays, at Social Security offices in Bangkok and provinces nationwide. Interested candidates must submit applications in person along with required documents downloadable from the Social Security Office website.
The Secretary-General of the Social Security Office concluded by inviting qualified employers and insured personsto applyto stand for election as representatives on the Social Security Board by 15 July 2026, and urges all eligible voters to register andcast their ballotson 27 September 2026 tohelp shape the futureof the Social Security Fund together, because every right matters and every vote plays a vital rolein driving forwardthe country's social security system.
