On 14 July 2026, reports said the atmosphere at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Police General Hospital was heavy with grief as families and relatives came to collect the bodies of those who died in the Ladprao brewery fire.

, The first body was that of Second Lieutenant Phisanu Taengsopa, a military inspector. Relatives traveled to take the body from the Institute of Forensic Medicine to hold funeral rites at Wat Nong Bua Thong in Krasiao Subdistrict, Sam Chuk District, Suphanburi Province.

The second body was Miss Maneerat Bomklang. She was 38 years old, and her husband, who had married her less than a month ago, came to receive the body, weeping in sorrow, while relatives embraced and comforted each other amid the loss.

After receiving the body, the family planned to hold funeral rites at Ban Khok Klang, Khok Klang Subdistrict, Lam Plai Mat District, Buriram Province, surrounded by the grief of family and close ones.

The third body was Police Corporal Female Pemika Onsi. She was 24 years old, assigned to Division 4, Security Police Division 3, serving at the Government House. Officials coordinated with her family to receive the body at the Institute of Forensic Medicine to bring it home for funeral rites at Ban San Sai Ngam, San Sai Ngam Subdistrict, Thoeng District, Chiang Rai Province.

As officials moved the coffin onto a rescue vehicle from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, relatives lit incense and tapped the coffin, calling the deceased to "come home" amid family cries. Before the vehicle departed the hospital, fellow officers from Security Police Division 3 gathered to bid farewell, many holding back tears since Corporal Pemika had only been promoted three months prior but tragically passed away along with another officer, Corporal Sitthichok, who also died in the same incident.

The fourth body was Mr. Apinan Pengsri. He was 33 years old from Chaiyaphum Province. His family came to arrange to receive the body to bring it home for religious funeral rites. The atmosphere was filled with grief as relatives and family remained deeply saddened.

The fifth body was Mr. Charan Lueknok. He was 27 years old. His aunt traveled to receive her nephew’s body to bring it home for funeral rites at Wat Sai Thong, Tha Mafai Wan Subdistrict, Kaeng Khro District, Chaiyaphum Province.

The aunt revealed that Charan had no parents to care for him since his mother had recently passed away, so she had to personally come to handle receiving the body amid the family's and relatives' sorrow.

The sixth and seventh bodies received today (13 July) were two young women from Kantharalak District, Sisaket Province, who were relatives: Miss Niphaporn Jamjaeng and Miss Atcharaporn Suttisin. Their family and relatives had been waiting since the early afternoon to receive the bodies.

Officials first moved Niphaporn's body out, and her father lit incense and tapped the coffin to invite the spirit home according to their beliefs. Seeing his daughter’s body, the father broke down in tears, calling her name with deep sorrow before relatives and friends gathered to invoke the spirit and say goodbye amid sobbing that echoed throughout the area.

Next, officials moved Atcharaporn's body onto a rescue vehicle from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation. Her father lit incense and tapped the coffin to invite her spirit, tearfully saying, "Father has come to take you home," deeply moving relatives and onlookers.

These two were the sixth and seventh victims whose families came to receive the bodies today (13 July), marking the last set of bodies that the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Police General Hospital could confirm identities for and release to families for return to their hometowns.

Tomorrow (14 July), officials will begin releasing bodies of more than 20 other victims for families to conduct religious funeral rites.
