The Bang Sue Police Chief has deployed over 50 officers to ensure the safety of football fans watching the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on a giant screen for free at Rot Fai Park. The event starts at 2:00 a.m. tonight, with Gate 3 opening at 11:30 p.m. Lumphini Park will open its gates at 11:00 p.m. as well, where the Lumphini Police Chief will also conduct strict security supervision.
At 6:00 p.m. on 19 July 2026, the atmosphere was set for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ ONE NIGHT ONE CHAMPION event at Wachirabenchathat Park, also known as Rot Fai Park, and at Lumphini Park. JAS, the major license holder, expanded the viewing area and installed a giant screen for football enthusiasts to watch the 2026 World Cup final live and free, featuring Spain versus Argentina, starting at 2:00 a.m. on 20 July 2026.
At Rot Fai Park near the 'Centipede' lawn area, organizers expanded the space and upgraded the giant screen to a larger size to accommodate the crowds expected to come and experience this historic event. Organizers have implemented security measures jointly with Bang Sue Police Station and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
Police Colonel Sanong Saengmanee, Chief of Bang Sue Police Station, said in a phone interview that over 50 police officers and related personnel have been deployed around the area to maintain order and manage traffic. Starting tonight from 11:30 p.m., Gate 3 at Rot Fai Park will open to welcome football fans to secure their spots, with security checks for illegal items conducted before entry to ensure safety.
Meanwhile, at Lumphini Park’s Watch Party In The Park, live cheering will take place on a giant screen inside the Lumphini Sathan Building. Gates will open from 11:00 p.m. onwards. Organizers, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and Police Colonel Yingyos Suwannono, Chief of Lumphini Police Station, along with their forces, will also enforce strict security measures.
