EXAT Organizes Fire Prevention Drill and Safe Driving Awareness Activities for 2026

The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) organized activities to build a community network friendly to the expressway, conduct fire prevention and suppression drills in the Kanchanaphisek Expressway area (Bang Phli–Suksawat), and promote safe driving awareness for the year 2026.


On 20 August 2026 at 10:00 a.m., Mrs. Kulakanya Thumsen, Deputy Governor (Legal) of the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), presided over the opening of the community network building and fire prevention and suppression drill activities in the Kanchanaphisek Expressway area (Bang Phli–Suksawat), along with safe driving awareness events for 2026. Mr. Anek Kotpromsri, Director of Land Rights Department, executives, staff, and employees of EXAT participated in the event at Wat Bang Ya Phraek School, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province. The Mayor of Pu Chao Saming Phrai Municipality and the school principal welcomed them, together with faculty members and students.

EXAT donated fire extinguishers to Wat Bang Ya Phraek School and provided mist spray equipment to help reduce dust problems at the school. Fire extinguishers were also given to the Thanomsuk Community (Village 8), Wat Bang Ya Phraek Community, Village 17 Community, Sitthamkhun Community (Village 18), Pracharuamjai Community (Village 20), Village 22 Community of Wat Bang Ya Phraek, Samrong Tai Police Station, and Bang Ya Phraek Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital.

EXAT provided knowledge and enhanced skills of students, school personnel, and community residents regarding the causes of fire, correct fire suppression methods, and safe and proper use of firefighting equipment. This training aimed to effectively prevent and control fires, equip participants with basic self-care and survival skills in fire emergencies, and offer understanding of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Additionally, Toyota Motor Thailand joined to provide safe driving education.
