When asked about the building's structural collapse, Mr. Chadchart said there were reports but nothing confirmed yet. The building's steel structure can weaken when exposed to heat, increasing collapse risk. Initially, no one was trapped inside. The first floor houses shops, while the second and third floors serve as parking. Currently, efforts focus on containing the fire within the building. The roof appears partially collapsed, along with some structural parts.
Mr. Chadchart stated that most goods are stored on the first floor since it is a shopping area, while the second and third floors are parking lots. There are adjacent shophouses. The fire likely started on the first floor; although there are fire hydrants, the dense goods caused rapid fire spread. Fire trucks have been mobilized from nearby areas.
Regarding firefighting difficulties, safety for personnel is the priority. Officials are not allowed inside the building, as the collapse risk is still uncertain. Therefore, water is being sprayed from outside mainly. Additionally, the building walls hinder water access to the interior.
At 22:41, initial reports confirmed three injured individuals at the scene: a volunteer, a firefighter from Suan Mali, and a firefighter from Samsen. They received first aid and were transported to Klang Hospital.
