The Don Mueang District Office held a lively election for the chairman of the Don Mueang Volunteer Civil Defense. Members flocked to vote for the committee, waving signs to support the two candidates before Wanchai Paekhanthong earned their trust to become the new chairman for a 4-year term.
The Don Mueang District Office organized the election of the coordination committee and chairman of the Volunteer Civil Defense Center (Or Por Por) for Don Mueang District, with an energetic atmosphere.
At 10:00 a.m. on 6 September 2026, on the second floor of the Don Mueang District Office, the election for the coordination committee and chairman of the Volunteer Civil Defense Center was held, following the completion of the previous chairman’s 2-year term.
The atmosphere was lively, with many Volunteer Civil Defense members attending the meeting and voting for the committee. This year, supporters brought signs and photos of one of the candidates to display at the front, adding vibrant color to this year’s committee election.
There were two nominees this year. Mr. Wanchai Paekhanthong was entrusted to serve as chairman of the Don Mueang Volunteer Civil Defense Center and will hold the position for a 4-year term.
