On 25 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported on flooding conditions in Bangkok. Continuous rainfall throughout the day caused water accumulation in multiple areas of the city, affecting residents' ability to travel.
At Bang Khen Roundabout, water accumulated on the road surface to a depth of about 5–10 centimeters, causing travel inconvenience. The Bang Khen District Office advised residents to exercise caution when traveling and avoid the roundabout area if possible. Drivers are urged to reduce speed and be extra careful when driving through flooded spots.
In Sai Mai District, flooding was reported in Soi Sai Mai 43 at depths of about 10–20 centimeters, with drainage efforts underway. Additionally, Sukapiban 5 Road from the waste disposal site to Or Ngoen Market had water accumulation of approximately 5–10 centimeters.
In Bang Kapi District, traffic was temporarily closed under the Ban Ma intersection bridge due to rising water levels in the Khlong Saen Saeb canal.
In Don Mueang District, officials are monitoring water conditions from 24–27 Sep 2026 GMT+7, anticipating rainfall that could raise water levels in Khlong Prem Prachak and possibly cause overflow in some areas. Residents living near the canal or in low-lying zones were advised to move valuables to higher ground and inspect electrical systems for safety.
Furthermore, continuous afternoon rain caused flooding and rising water levels at Khlong Prapa Intersection on Chaeng Watthana Road. Water covered the roadway on both sides, making it difficult for small and large vehicles to pass, slowing traffic intermittently. Road users were advised to exercise caution and allow extra travel time.
This morning, reporters visited the Bang Bua community near the wooden bridge along Khlong Bang Bua in Lak Si District. After overnight continuous rain, water levels in the canal rose and flooded homes in the community.
Some residents hurriedly built brick barriers in front of their houses to prevent water from entering and moved belongings to higher ground. They reported that water levels noticeably began rising from around 08:00 onwards.
At Asok pier, after the Khlong Saen Saeb boat service was temporarily suspended due to rising water levels from heavy rain in Bangkok, which could compromise safety, most passengers switched to other public transport options, particularly the BTS Asok station, which continued to see steady passenger traffic.
