The Traffic Police Bureau announced that the surface level lanes of Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, both inbound and outbound, are now open for normal use after the rainfall and flooding situation on the road subsided.
At 15:00 on 28 Sep 2026, under the direction of Police Major General Damrongsak Swang-ngam, Commander of the Traffic Police Bureau, Police Colonel Natthapong Chueadej, Deputy Commander of the Traffic Police Bureau, and Police Colonel Seksan Chumjam, Commander of Division 2, Traffic Police Bureau, operations were supervised by Police Lieutenant Colonel Damphawan Thong-im, Deputy Chief of the Vibhavadi Rangsit/Expressway Traffic Control Center, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Phuchong Maothung, Officer at the same center, Division 2, Traffic Police Bureau.
They informed the public that "The water has receded, and the surface lanes of Vibhavadi Road are open," allowing travel in both inbound and outbound directions. The floodwaters on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road have now subsided to the point where no standing water remains on the roadway.
Traffic police promptly moved affected vehicles, cleared the area, and coordinated with relevant authorities to clean the road surface, ensuring safe reopening of the route. Vibhavadi Rangsit Road surface lanes are now operating normally in both directions, enabling the public to continue their travel.
