In the Lat Phrao-Bang Kapi area, after the floodwaters receded, large piles of trash were found, gathered by residents and awaiting collection by officials to be taken to the On Nut landfill.
On 3 October 2026, reports indicated that along Lat Phrao Road in Bang Kapi, on the outbound route after the recent floods, trash was found from the entrance of Bang Kapi Market, extending through the intersection of Nawamin and Seri Thai roads, heading toward the NIDA intersection, and in front of the Khlong Chan housing community in Bang Kapi.
Along this route, piles of trash placed by local residents and vendors were still visible on sidewalks and roadsides. The debris ranged from small pieces and wood scraps to large waste items, all awaiting collection by district office waste management staff to be taken to the On Nut landfill.
