20 Oct 2026: Avoid Routes Due to Closure of Four Roads for Wat Khaek Silom Festival

Yannawa Police Station advises avoiding routes for the Wat Khaek Silom Festival 2026 procession on Tuesday, 20 Oct 2026, with traffic closures on four roads.

Reporters stated that Yannawa Metropolitan Police publicized the road closures for the annual Wat Phra Sri Maha Uma Devi (Wat Khaek Silom) Festival 2026 procession on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, affecting four roads as follows.

  • Silom Road (in front of Wat Khaek), from Nararam Intersection to Surasak Intersection, closed from 16:00 to 04:00.
  • Narathiwat Road (inbound), from Narinthra Intersection to Nararam Intersection, closed from 17:00 to 02:00.
  • North Sathorn Road, from Sathorn Intersection to Narinthra Intersection, closed from 19:00 to 04:00.
  • Surasak Road, closed from 16:00 to 04:00.

Attendees are advised to use the BTS Skytrain and get off at Saint Louis Station (approximately 750 meters from Wat Khaek), Surasak, or Chong Nonsi stations (about 800 meters away). Due to road closures and no parking near the festival site, and since BTS services end at midnight—with the last train departing the origin station slightly before midnight to meet closing times at terminal stations—passengers should plan their travel accordingly in advance.
