
“Tun Jitpas,” Chair of the Advisory Committee to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, traveled to Sa Kaeo to visit those affected by the Thailand-Cambodia border conflict and to provide support to national park staff.
On 13 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Suchat Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, assigned Ms. Jitpas Tun Kridakorn, Chair of the Advisory Committee to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, and her team to conduct an inspection mission in Sa Kaeo Province.
Ms. Jitpas stated that she and her team visited the national park along the Thailand-Cambodia border to meet and listen to briefings about the situation and its impact following clashes at the border area. They then visited affected residents within the park to offer encouragement, distributing drinking water and dry food to those affected. They also visited bedridden patients to provide moral support and delivered survival kits to assist national park staff in their duties.
Additionally, they observed a demonstration on making salt licks for wildlife in the park, an important natural learning site. This inspection reflects the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's commitment to supporting field staff while closely caring for residents affected by the Thailand-Cambodia border conflict.
